Zoutelande, a cosy touristic village

You can find a variety of shops, restaurants and terraces in the small village Zoutelande. On every Tuesday from May till September there is a Touristic market. The dunes of Zoutelande are the highest dunes of the Netherlands and are an unique view. There are walking and cycle paths through and behind the dunes so you can enjoy the scenery.

The beach of Zoutelande

The hotel is located on walking distance of the long beaches which are awarded with a blue flag for the clean and safe beaches. Zoutelande, also known as the Zeeuwse Rivièra, the only place in the Netherlands with a beach on the south. Therefore, it has the most sun hours of the Netherlands, approximately 160 hours per year more than the Dutch average. You can enjoy a good meal or drink on the different beach pavilions. The beach is accessible for people with reduced mobility. During the bathing season the lifeguards watch the whole beach. There are different spots with informative boards.

Free parking for hotel guests

You can use our free car park from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival until 2 p.m. on the day of departure. Please note: parking on the public road in front of the hotel is NOT free. The Duinweg is a permit holder zone.

Paid parking in Zoutelande

Paid parking applies in Zoutelande and the rest of the municipality of Veere from 1 March to 1 November. The village centre is mainly reserved for permit holders. There are also several car parks for visitors. From 1 November to the end of February, parking is free everywhere. You can obtain information about the various car parks and rates at reception. 

Beautiful Walcheren

Explore Walcheren via different beautiful cycle and walking routes. Discover the pleasant places Domburg, Oostkapelle or Vrouwenpolder or the picturesque place Veere for sightseeing. The historic capital city Middleburg or the port city Vlissingen at the Westerschelde are certainly worth a visit.
